Tangled Photo

I decided to take two of my loves and combine them. I entered this photo in the fair a couple of years back and got 2nd place on it. After I brought it home, I got something on it and messed it up... (see the leaves in the bottom right). Then it was knocked off the wall and the frame broke so it sat in my craft room for about a year. I kept thinking I wanted to tangle a picture then I remembered this one. I almost forgot to take the before picture as you can see where I started tangling in the middle of the sunflower. Now I believe it is resurrected. What do you think?

Art Journal

Thanks to Life Imitates Doodles for linking me to No Excuse Art community. It was fun to have a focus I could use for future projects.   (L-R) pink, orange & lime green; - maroon, orange & purple; - orange, navy & pink;- aqua, green and violet; I also created color combos with the words "watch me now": watch = blues, green & yellow; - black, gray and red; - red magenta & purple.
(L-R) mustard, smokey blue & plum; - magenta, gray and coral; -red, green & yellow; - orange, yellow and gray; -orange, green & yellow; -coral, sea-foam, gray & pastel blue; yellow, purple & bright blue.
Below is  the reason I was in need of color combo's. I don't like the way it turned out. Just means I need to do better next time and I should now that I have created color options I like.

Thanks to Life Imitates Doodles for linking me to No Excuse Art. Sometimes all we need is a little direction to get started on a fun journal page or two. The first page shows color palates given as suggestion and the second page contains my own color combo ideas.
ond are my own ideas.

Hoo says you can't be a Star!

My daughter will audition for The Voice tomorrow and although she no longer likes owls, I saw this tutorial by Andrea Gomoll |(http://andrea-gomoll.de/category/art/) and instantly saw this in my head. So I had to create it. I think it turned out cute. I will add my journaling to it later. Thanks for the inspiration.
